This is incredible! I'm curious, what type of paper did you use for printing the board face and cards, specifically? What kind of printer did you use? Is the board backing store bought, or did you recycle an old board? I am looking into making my own unofficial monopoly and would REALLY love to know what materials you used to get an equally professional finish to mine! Again, stellar job, and Merry Christmas!
Besides, they just made ME Risk, and that is far less exciting than what you have made. I believe it would be well worth your time to contact Bioware. At the very least, you waste a few hours, but if it catches their attention half as much as the rest of us, you could profit huge and make a lot of fans very happy.
Seriously, you should send a sample to Bioware. This is amazing~~ I mean for real for real.
I am 95% positive you will get their permission.
You know the Nightmare Armor Studios? They made the COG armor from Gears of War series.
When they finish it they made an appointment with the EPIC GAMES staff and developers.
Epic gave them the right to make it and sell it~
You should try it too~
Just think about if it worked, you make thousands and thousands of ME fans really happy to have an awesome ME board game like this^^.(Gears of War have a board game too, I can't see why can't we have a ME one, also Bioware loves to rip off their gamers, they will do anything to get money, I am serious.)
I am unable to produce these for sale as I do not own the rights for the IP and I'm sure Bioware and Hasbro would not like me doing so. The process is also so labor intensive the price would be around $350 which is a lot for a board game.
It is really nice of so many people to express how much they would like this, Thank you
Well... you could forward a suggestion via their support email to both companies (attaching pictures) and suggesting that they produce it (ask for royalties/commision) OR permission to produce it yourself.
And put them in a corner by saying: "If no appropriate response is received within 48 hours, then I will assume I have the legal rights to commericially produce and distribute this product."
Even easier idea: 1. Post print-outable images. 2. Put a 'donations' link on your profile. 3. ??? 4. Profit
