Boba Fett Mixer by tommyfilth Boba Fett Mixer by tommyfilth
I asked for a Kitchenaid mixer for Christmas, I pointed my wife toward a broken one on eBay so that I could refurbish it, as I was taking it apart I got some inspiration for the paint job and this is what came out of it, still needs a phase board for speed control and two decals to be applied to the sides but I couldn't wait to share.

I don't know offhand but they are the only ones in those shades IIRC. dark green, light green, etc...

I used Valspar spray paints form Lowes, I usually like Krylon, but Valspar has pretty similar characteristics. The topcoat is duplicolor engine enamel.

Wasn't the top part of that mixer used as the head of a droid or two?

Awesome paint job, by the way. :D

Ev-9d9 is close, but I think it was sculpted from scratch, there is a size difference between the two. Thanks!

Ahh, I never thought of that. I just knew that every once in a while I'd see one of those blenders and think "hey..." :D
